-Wish someone would put things in one place that you need to help them speak more easily?

I’ve combed the scientific literature and whittled things down to the simplest and juiciest ways you can help.
“What’s Inside?” You Ask?
Thought you never would:) The PDF is divided into three chapters with six major sections in total. Go ahead and take a lovely scroll…
1. The Stuttering Specs
The first things you need to know are some basic facts about stuttering. We’ll make it quick, but you’re gonna want to know them. What exactly is stuttering? What’s it sound like? What’s it look like? What causes it? And what are the stats about recovery?
2. The Stuck to Speaking Strategies
What can you do, right now, to help your child get their thoughts and words more easily? And how can you help them to be one of the 85% of children who recover from stuttering?
A. Changing the Speaking Environment
The first step to helping your stuttering kiddo speak more easily is to actually change how you speak. Sounds crazy, I know. But a child’s speaking environment has a huge effect on how easily they can speak themselves.
B. Helping Your Child Ease Their Speech
The second step to helping your child speak more easily is to help them find ways of speaking with better timing and less struggle in moments of especially difficult stuttering.
C. Building Your Child’s Self-Regulation
The third step to helping your stuttering child speak more easily is to help them build self- regulation, or "the ability to modulate their emotions to return to a place of homeostasis," from which they can speak the most easily.
3. Seeking More Help
When should you get your child a professional stuttering evaluation? What should you say to their pediatrician? And what should you bring when you show up?
Hey, I’m Stephen.
You may know me as “SLP Stephen” online.
I know you don’t really care about me, though: you care about how you can help your child when they stutter. But I want you to know that you’re in the right place.
I’m a speech-language pathologist and own a private practice in Pennsylvania that treats solely clients who stutter; I’m also successfully-speaking person who stutters and the dad to a young child who’s stuttered. Trust me, I know what you’re going through.
Here's my story in 20 seconds:
I began stuttering when I was three years old, but my pediatrician told my mom it would go away on its own (it didn’t), so I didn’t get any help for it until I was 17 years old. I got made fun of at the lunch table, dreaded public speaking in class, and was teased because sometimes I couldn’t say my own name. Finally, when I was 17, I found an intensive stuttering therapy program in Norfolk, VA and, in two weeks, I learned an entirely new, easier way of speaking. I can still remember going into a little bistro and ordering a sandwich fluently for the first time in my life. and. it. was. life-changing.
I want your young child to have a radically different childhood than mine. That’s why I created “Stuck to Speaking.” There are so many simple, science-backed ways you can help your child get their thoughts and words out as fluently, easily, and happily as they can, absolutely as soon as possible. And I teach them all to you, inside.
We now know 8-10% of children stutter in early childhood somewhere in the course of their communication development.
So it’s not just you. You are not alone out there. And there is some good news:
About 85% of those children recover from stuttering within three to four years, usually by age seven.
How do you ensure you do all you can to help your child be in the 85%? You get help for their stuttering as early as possible so their brain gets as much support as it can as it grows.

FAQs
Alright, you’ve got some questions. You’re a smart parent;) Let’s see if I can help you out.
Is this for my child?
“Stuck to Speaking” is written specifically for the parents of young children who stutter, ages one through their seventh birthday. The knowledge, techniques, and recommendations have been synthesized from the science looking at children under the age of seven. If your child is older than that but still needs help, I recommend consulting with your doctor and/or a knowledgeable speech-language pathologist one-on-one.
Is the information easy for me to use?
Heck. yes. it. is. I know Google can be a bit of an overwhelming place when you’re looking for help for your child stuttering. One of my major goals with “Stuck to Speaking” was to collect all the pertinent knowledge that could help and deliver it in a simple and beautiful way so you could understand it quickly and act on it easily.
What qualifies you to teach me this material?
I’ve been practicing as a licensed speech-language pathologist for half a decade, I own a private speech therapy practice that treats solely people who stutter, from age two to ninety two, I’ve stuttered myself since I was three and I’ve learned how to communicate successfully, and I’m also the parent of a three year old who’s walked through periods of stuttering herself. While I don’t have 25+ years of experience or a PhD, I have practical, on-the-ground knowledge about stuttering, about what it’s like to be a toddler parent in 2021, and about what parents like us need in this day and age to help their children speak more easily.
Is this a physical or digital book?
“Stuck to Speaking” comes in the form of a digital PDF, so you get access to it instantly when you purchase, with no shipping time (or fees!). Of course, you can always print it out if you like reading on physical paper.
